At Coder Camps, it’s our goal to help transitioning military personnel and veterans join the workforce after serving for our country. It’s not always an easy task with more work experience and technical training being required year over year, so we work hand-in-hand with industry experts to make sure we’re teaching our students the most relevant and up-to-date technologies in the software development industry. Scholarship Information

  • Scholarship – Full Ride Scholarship to Coder Camps

  • Eligibility – Any student that is active/former military, a spouse of a veteran, or a dependent must finish Coding from Scratch and must receive a score of 70 or higher.

  • Application procedure – Student must submit a copy of their DD214 or a copy of their orders.

  • Terms and Conditions – Cannot be combined with other scholarships or cash discounts. Must apply before the deadline of Friday, August 11th.

  • All eligible applications will be selected at random and will be notified directly via phone on Friday, August 25th.

What You Will Achieve

  • Create a fully functional web application of your own design

  • Learn industry best practices in design, web security, and Agile project management

  • Create a mobile web application which can be published to the App Store or Google Play

  • Build a portfolio of your work to share with employers

Scholarship Rules

Scholarship recipient will receive a scholarship that covers the tuition and fees for the program regardless of selected modality or technology.

  • Upon successful completion of the program the student will have the ability to return and take additional courses at no additional cost to the student.
  • Scholarship may be used for cohort starting on or after 08/14/2017 and must be used by 10/02/2017. The scholarship recipient will have the opportunity to modify their course start date, any subsequent requests will forfeit the scholarship award.
  • Scholarship recipient will be given access to Coder Camps “Coding from Scratch” course once they have completed their Enrollment Agreement and Career Services agreement. The student must successfully pass the Coding from Scratch in order to transition into the full course.
  • The scholarship recipient must adhere to our attendance, code of conduct, and Satisfactory Academic Progress standards set forth in the Coder Camps Catalog.
  • Coder Camps will select the scholarship recipient on or after 08/11/2017 via a random drawing.
  • Coder Camps reserves the right to modify start dates, campus location, course offerings, and delivery method depending on instructor availability.
  • Scholarship has no cash value.
